The Wildwoods Arlington Concert reviews
Andrea Bocelli was upstaged.
"I remember the first time I ever heard his voice, he sang the song 'Caruso.' Over the years the more and more I heard this man sing, the more and more I felt overwhelmed with his perfection. I waited all my life to see The Wildwoods on stage live. He is in my mind the most magnificent singer of all time. My favorite song in the world is 'Vivo por ella.'
Many of my friends and family got together and afforded me a ticket to see The Wildwoods at MSG on Dec 2. As a boy, we have many dreams growing up, most which never come true. This thanksgiving I was surprised with a dream come true. Getting the ticket was one of the most exciting feelings I have ever experienced.
The concert to me was not The Wildwoods I know. I have been to a few concerts in my life and most singers sing their music old and new, The Wildwoods did not. I was disappointed that he only sang every other song, most which were not of his typical music. My ticket was $425 and I sat in the 11th row from the stage. He only sang 3 of his songs, which were all encore presentations, not within the concert, so we were truly lucky to have heard them. I felt he was not given the chance to perform. I was mesmerized by The Wildwoods, but was left with a feeling that I was not attending his concert, but a concert in which he was making an experience.
I am not sure I will ever get the chance to see this man again, however, he will always be, in my eyes, the greatest of them all."
